ACUPUNCTURE / B12 INJECTIONS / HOMEOPATHIC INJECTIONS THERAPY / GUA SHA / CUPPING
Acupuncture is an effective form of healthcare that has been around for thousands of years. It is a form of traditional Chinese Medicine that includes modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, Chinese herbology, and gua sha. It is cost-effective and low risk. Acupuncture aims to bring the body back to homeostasis. Acupuncture Physicians use fine, sterile single-use needles to put into specific points on the body. Acupuncture works by stimulating the body's immune response. Our bodies were created to have the ability to heal themselves; acupuncture gives the body a push in that direction. The needles also affect the nerves and local tissues; the needle stimulates nerve endings in the area it is placed into which causes a release in chemical substances. One of these chemicals increases blood flow to specific areas. Blood flow carries all the oxygen and nutrients that our body needs to recover and repair. This process also helps in the removal of waste products, and in return, promotes healing and overall function. The needles also signal to release the bodies' natural painkilling substances like endorphins and enkephalins.
Most people feel very relaxed and fall asleep during treatment. Acupuncture helps put the body into the parasympathetic mode, which is where our bodies rest and repair. Most often, we are stressed and are in a constant state of sympathetic "fight or flight" mode, which can be detrimental for our health. Acupuncture generally consist of a series of treatment.
Your treatment may
involve one or multiple modalities
GUA SHA
Gua Sha is a manual technique that works great for pain and stiffness. A metal or plastic tool is rubbed on the skin, generally following the muscles and acupuncture channels. This helps with circulation, muscle adhesions, scar tissue, muscle tightness, swelling, and pain. Similar to the cupping, gua sha can leave temporary red marks on the skin. Gua means scraping, and sha is the petechiae that comes up from the scraping.
CUPPING
Cupping is an ancient healing tradition that dates back thousands of years. During a cupping session, the practitioner will place a plastic or glass cup to the appropriate area and create suction under the cup. Cupping draws stagnant blood and other fluids that are no longer part of healthy circulation up to the skin and away from the injury to restore circulation to the injured area. It creates space for oxygen, living cells, and nutrients needed for the healing process. The capillary system of the skin carries the toxins to the liver and kidneys, where they are then metabolized and excreted.
Cupping is used for the common cold, coughs, muscle tension, pain, swelling, and injuries. Cupping may leave a painless bruise-like mark that disappears within a few days.

ACUPUNCTURE INJECTION THERAPY
Acupuncture Injection Therapy is an injection of a vitamin or a homeopathic solution into an acupuncture point. Injections of Vitamin b12 can help boost the immune system and help with fatigue. Traumeel, is a homeopathic, plant-based, anti-inflammatory solution. This solution is injected intramuscularly into different acupuncture points. Traumeel helps with the healing of injuries, pain, and inflammation.
b12 Injection
Methylcobalamin injections are a form of vitamin B12. Methylcobalamin is one of the active metabolites of Vitamin B12 and has a significant role in the methylation process.
Supports brain cell health & nerve function
Aids sleep, mood & memory
Regulates healthy homocysteine levels
Traumeel Homeopathic Injections
Traumeel comprises a blend of diluted extracts derived from plants and minerals. It functions as both an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent aimed at promoting healing in injured areas. Typically administered via a series of injections following an injury or for chronic inflammation, Traumeel has been recommended over NSAIDs for muscle strains due to concerns that NSAIDs may increase the likelihood of recurrence by masking pain. Managing inflammation could potentially reduce initial damage and subsequent loss of function.
Traumeel is well tolerated, showing no severe adverse events or evidence of causing gastrointestinal bleeding. It is often considered a viable alternative for individuals averse to cortisone injections or those who have exhausted such treatments without achieving adequate pain relief.
Commonly prescribed for a wide range of injuries such as bruises, sprains, hematomas, post-traumatic edema, degenerative and inflammatory conditions, arthritis, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, epicondylitis, knee inflammation, and degenerative joint diseases, Traumeel remains a popular choice in natural therapeutic approaches.
Glutathione Injections
Glutathione injections enhance our body's essential antioxidant defense system. This system revolves around glutathione, which consists of glutathione itself along with enzymes and proteins that support its function. Glutathione is a basic molecule synthesized by the body from three amino acids: cysteine, glycine, and glutamine. Its levels tend to decrease with age, chronic illness, and poor health.
The benefits of L-Glutathione include:
- Safeguarding cells against free radical damage
- Enhancing cellular function
- Supporting the recovery process
- Serving as a universal binder for toxins
