VIRTUAL PILATES MAT TRAINING AVAILABLE - CALL US TODAY!
Pilates & Yoga Loft is offering a Pilates Mat Certification course. Pilates Mat work is the foundation of learning the Pilates Method originally known as “Contrology”. Joseph Pilates wanted to ensure that everyone could move and do those things they want to do with joy and without pain. The Mat course is designed as much for those who want to have a deeper understanding of the method and its principles of movement as those that are interested in teaching Mat Pilates. The Mat Certification course will cover an overview of anatomy, the history of Pilates, the Pilates principles and ethics and of course all of the Mat exercises. We start with the basics, move through the intermediate and finish with the advanced exercises. We also cover modifications and variations to all of these exercises so that everyone can utilize this amazing, positive and fun form of exercise. To complete the certification course, all training sessions must be attended this program can be done all virtual or hybrid sessions. In addition, attending Mat classes, observing classes being taught, and practice teaching Mat classes will be required. There is also a teaching assessment and a written assessment. Total price for Pilates Mat is $1,200. Payment plan option is available in 3 installments of $450 if requested.
